Some retail advertising ideas work because they’re complex. Others work because they’re simply funny. This campaign for Snooze’s Madison bedding range falls firmly into the second camp.

The creative idea delivers an immediate chuckle, setting the tone from the outset and creating an instant connection with the audience. With the concept developed by Lena Boland, our role at Two Tractors was to bring the idea to life through production and then refine it in the editing room.

From on-set execution through to post-production, the focus was on timing, performance and restraint, allowing the humour to land naturally without overworking the idea. The result is a retail TV commercial that feels elevated, confident and considered, while still doing the core job of retail advertising.

This project is a great example of how retail-based ads can be crafted with the same care and attention as brand-led work, without losing clarity or effectiveness.
