Carsales is market leader but, with new entrants and challengers entering the market, they needed to further secure this leadership position. The challenge was to create a campaign that could appeal to Carsales’ broad target audience. Spots were produced centred around both selling and buying through Carsales. The ads needed to explain just how easy the process is – with over 2 million visitors to the site and over 220,000 cars for sale.
“Yes you did!” Our tag line focuses on the ease of using Carsales. With a little bit of help from stand up comic and TV regular, Anne Edmonds, we’ve created a series of spots that celebrates the result of buying or selling a car on Carsales, while reminding the hero of the ad that the task they’ve just completed isn’t all that amazing, given how easy Carsales makes it.
